Boys and Girls,
The trucking industry in the United States has affected the political and economic history of the United States in the 20th century, stated by Wikipedia. It further states, “Before the invention of automobiles, most freight was moved by train or horse-drawn vehicle.” The transportation industry is our history and there is not one individual to young to understand the importance of a truck drivers role.
As kids riding in the back of my parents car, we couldn’t wait until a Big Rig passed us. To hear the infamous “Honk Honk,” was magical!
